It has come to our attention that many of our students arrive to school prior to 9:00 a.m. and some are not picked up until after 4:20 p.m. Florida Statue 1003.31 requires that the school system provides supervision for students 30 minutes before the school day begins and 30 minutes after the school day ends. Our official school start timeis 9:30 a.m. and our dismissal time is 3:50 p.m. Students should not arrive to school prior to 9:00 a.m. and should be picked up no later than 4:20 p.m. The safety of students represents the primary concern. Our goal is to ensure that all of our students arrive and leave school safely and that adequate supervision is available during their arrival and departure.
